Console setup / Xbox

XBOX · OUTSIDE NETWORK SETUP

Connect Xbox from anywhere.

Use this on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One when the console is at another house or on any external internet connection. Allow about five minutes and keep this page open on a phone.

PUBLIC BEDROCK ADDRESSplay.chooocole.comPort 19132
Change only the Xbox DNS.Do not edit the router, port-forward anything, or enter the Minecraft server address in Xbox network settings. If you move the Xbox to another network, set DNS again on that connection.

DNS VALUES

Enter these exactly.

This public DNS opens the BedrockConnect server list; it is not ChloeCraft's game-server address. The original Xbox setting is normally Automatic.

Xbox DNS

PRIMARY IPv4 DNS104.238.130.180
SECONDARY IPv4 DNS8.8.8.8

STEP BY STEP

Xbox network setup

1

Confirm Xbox is on the outside network

Connect the Xbox to the Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection you actually plan to use. Confirm that ordinary online services work before changing DNS.

2

Open DNS settings

Press the Xbox button and follow:

Choose Manual.

3

Enter both DNS values

Primary IPv4 DNS: 104.238.130.180
Secondary IPv4 DNS: 8.8.8.8

Save the values. Leave IP settings, alternate port selection, QoS, and alternate MAC address unchanged.

4

Quit Minecraft—not just the world

From Xbox Home, highlight Minecraft, press the Menu button, and choose Quit. If it appears in Quick Resume, remove it there too. Reopen Minecraft and go to Play → Servers.

5

Open the custom server list

Join Mineville, Lifeboat, Enchanted, Galaxite, or The Hive. Instead of entering that Featured Server, a BedrockConnect screen should appear. Choose Connect to a Server or Add Server.

6

Add the public ChloeCraft endpoint

SERVER ADDRESSplay.chooocole.com
PORT19132

Save it as ChloeCraft, select it, and connect. Do not add https://, a local IP, or the Java port.

OUTSIDE-NETWORK FIXES

If it does not work

The Featured Server opens normally

  • Confirm the active Xbox connection shows Manual DNS.
  • Quit Minecraft fully; Quick Resume can preserve old DNS results.
  • Recheck every digit and try another compatible Featured Server.
  • Restart Xbox after saving DNS.
  • Guest, school, hotel, filtered, or parental-control networks may block custom DNS. Try a phone hotspot to isolate that problem.

BedrockConnect opens, but ChloeCraft does not

  • Use play.chooocole.com without spaces or https://.
  • Use port 19132, not Java's port.
  • Confirm the Microsoft account is allowed to use cross-network multiplayer.
  • Check ChloeCraft status from the website and BedrockConnect status below.

Undo the DNS change

Return to:

Choose Automatic, then quit and reopen Minecraft.

DNS values and redirect-compatible Featured Servers verified against the official BedrockConnect project documentation.
