Console setup / Nintendo Switch

SWITCH + SWITCH 2 · OUTSIDE NETWORK SETUP

Connect Nintendo from anywhere.

Use this when the console is at another house or on any external Wi-Fi or wired connection. Change DNS only for the saved network Minecraft is actually using.

PUBLIC BEDROCK ADDRESSplay.chooocole.comPort 19132
Change only the active Nintendo network. No router changes or port forwarding are required. Switch calls it a Registered Network; Switch 2 calls it a Saved Network. Repeat the DNS step whenever you move to a different connection.

DNS VALUES

Enter these exactly.

This DNS opens the BedrockConnect list; it is not the ChloeCraft game-server address. The original Nintendo setting is normally Automatic.

STEP BY STEP

Nintendo network setup

1

Connect to the outside network first

Join the Wi-Fi or wired connection you plan to use and confirm the console can reach ordinary online services.

2

Open that network's settings

Wait for the scan. Select the current connection under Registered Networks on Switch or Saved Networks on Switch 2, then choose Change Settings.

3

Change DNS Settings to Manual

Select DNS Settings → Manual, then enter:

  • Primary DNS: 104.238.130.180
  • Secondary DNS: 8.8.8.8

Choose Save, then Connect to This Network. Leave IP Address, Proxy, and MTU settings unchanged.

4

Close Minecraft completely

From HOME, highlight Minecraft, press X, and choose Close. Reopen it and go to Play → Servers.

5

Open the custom server list

Join Mineville, Lifeboat, Enchanted, Galaxite, or The Hive. Instead of entering that Featured Server, the BedrockConnect server list should appear.

6

Add the public ChloeCraft endpoint

SERVER ADDRESSplay.chooocole.com
PORT19132

Save it as ChloeCraft, select it, and connect. Do not add https://, a private IP, or Java's port.

OUTSIDE-NETWORK FIXES

If it does not work

The Featured Server opens normally

  • Close Minecraft with X and reopen it.
  • Confirm the active Registered/Saved Network uses Manual DNS.
  • Recheck every digit and try another compatible server.
  • Restart the console after saving DNS.
  • Guest, school, hotel, filtered, or parental-control networks may block custom DNS. Try a phone hotspot to isolate that problem.

BedrockConnect opens, but ChloeCraft does not

  • Use play.chooocole.com without https://.
  • Use port 19132.
  • Confirm the Nintendo/Microsoft account can use cross-network multiplayer.
  • Check ChloeCraft and BedrockConnect status.

Undo the DNS change

Select the current Registered/Saved Network, choose Change Settings → DNS Settings → Automatic, save, reconnect, and reopen Minecraft.

Nintendo menu paths and DNS values follow official Nintendo and BedrockConnect documentation.
