CONSOLE SETUP · OUTSIDE NETWORKS
Play ChloeCraft from anywhere.
Your console does not need to be on the same network as the server. Change DNS only on the console's active internet connection, open BedrockConnect, and connect through ChloeCraft's public address.
BEFORE YOU START
This is for a console away from the server.
No local network required. Home Wi-Fi, another house, or a mobile hotspot can work.
No router port forwarding. The console makes an ordinary outbound Bedrock connection.
Edit the active network only. If you switch Wi-Fi networks later, repeat the DNS step for that saved network.
Keep the public address. Always enter play.chooocole.com and port 19132—never a private or local IP.
THE WHOLE PROCESS
Five moves, then you are in.
- 1Choose the active connectionThe Wi-Fi or wired profile the console is using right now.
- 2Set DNS to ManualUse the values shown in your console-specific guide.
- 3Close Minecraft completelyDo not leave it suspended in Quick Resume or the background.
- 4Open a compatible Featured ServerMineville, Lifeboat, Enchanted, Galaxite, or The Hive opens BedrockConnect.
- 5Add ChloeCraftAddress
play.chooocole.com, port19132.
Which console are you using?
Keep the guide open on a phone while changing the console. Each page shows the exact menu path, the correct DNS for that platform, outside-network troubleshooting, and how to undo the change.
What changes?
Only DNS on that console network profile. A compatible Featured Server opens a custom server list where you save ChloeCraft. Your IP address, Wi-Fi password, NAT, MTU, proxy, and router stay unchanged.
Know the tradeoff.
The DNS is operated by the third-party BedrockConnect project and can observe DNS requests made by the console. Restore DNS to Automatic whenever you are finished. Review the open-source project.
